The Local Communities
The public business and community resource directory for Lee's Summit and surrounding Kansas City neighborhoods, built as the companion directory to The Local Communities.
Why This Exists
Great recommendations inside the Lee's Summit Community Facebook group move down the feed within hours. The Local Directory gives local businesses a permanent, crawlable page with direct phone, website, hours, and service areas so neighbors can look them up anytime.
How Membership Works
Businesses join on a simple monthly or annual plan. Every active member receives a full public directory page with photos and direct contact links, eligibility for weekday Member Spotlights, and an account dashboard to update hours, service areas, and details anytime.
Corrections & Contact
Business owners can sign in to their member account to edit hours, phone numbers, service areas, or photos immediately. If you spot outdated information on a business listing or community resource, or want to reach our team directly, contact us through The Local Communities contact page or suggest a community resource on our resource submission page.
Independence note: The Local Directory is an independent community publication of The Local Communities and Invisyn Solutions. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the City of Lee's Summit or any municipal agency.
